turn this baby into a five star rate, although the near mic clapping from all around is annoying from this obviously being hand-held. I haven't heard the 2nd Set yet but, it looks like a monster on paper.
You know, now that I have listened to Stan's recording for a second time after an early 2014 review, I'm not so sure the available SBD would do this FOB any good. The SBD uploaded just isn't all that great with Jerry's and Bobby's mics being way too hot. My guess is the only thing that would improve this AUD is mixing it with an officially released set of disks that are seriously re-engineered (but that would never happening for copyright reasons).
And yeah, this show is anything but perfunctory with a Shakedown > Promised ending the 1st set that I've never seen, and drums starting the 2nd set. And, oh my lord, a thirteen minute plus UJB with a reprise out of the Wheel! Good gosh, what a show!!! If a really good FOB ever surfaces, that would make for a wonderful Uptown triad rivaling the '81 troica. For sure - 2.27.81 and 8.19.80 are the cream of those two crops. Let's hope for a future DFC FOB. Oh, I love to dream...
